Okay, I'm a nerd...
Some of you may have noticed that the little pictures that show up beside your posts (I believe they're called avatars) look screwy. If your custom pic isn't square, it gets resized to a square and the aspect ratio is all messed up. However, if you go into your profile, you can specify custom widths and heights (maximum 100x100). For instance, Liad's picture of a trumpet is all smushed and funny-looking. If you load the picture in its own page, you can see that it is 100x37 pixels, but is getting resized to a square. If he set custom dimensions for his avatar, it would look better-proportioned. (If one of the dimensions of your original image is larger than 100, you'll have to do some math.)
Aren't you glad there are jackasses like me around to point this out?

Hey NE,
I guess I am being a nit-picky too. But I thought the Canadian flag was red? Unless I've gone completely color blind, your flag is blue. I looked through the providence flags and many city flags and found none that match yours. What does it represent?
Just a south of the border nerd.....

Thevor --
You are absolutely correct about the normal colour of the Canadian flag. (Although, to your eternal discredit, you did not notice that the leaf is also a different shape; the one on the Canadian flag is more pointy-like...) However, the logo of the Toronto Maple Leafs is blue (and the leaf is exactly as pointy as the one in the flag-thingy)! So, what I have over there ( <---------- ) is a clever juxtaposition of the layout of the Canadian flag with the colours and leaf design of the Toronto Maple Leafs, shamelessly stolen from the Leafs' webpage.
P.S. To head off any future nit-pickers, I would like to point out at this time that "Leafs" is the correct form, not "Leaves" as some wags have been known to suggest. "Toronto Maple Leaf" is a proper noun, and as a consequence is not modified when it is pluralized, just as Mr. and Mrs. Leaf are the Leafs, not the Leaves. That is all, have a nice day.

The plural for a San Jose Shark is Sharks. I don't want anyone to think it is Sharkz. I would be happy to scan a better Leafs logo for you, NE. I could e-mail it to you or put it up on my web site and provide you with the link. Of course if we did it that way, I could change it when you weren't looking. ;D How about this? I could shrink it down a little for you. Probably best to leave the head the same size and just shrink the body!

Oh contraire NE, I did notice the leaf was different. I didn't point it out because I thought it was one of those goofy aspect things you had pointed out earlier.
Toronto Maple Leafs - aren't they a semi pro soccer team up north?...................... just kidding. Years ago, while traveling to Canada, a few teenagers kept talking about Wayne Greske, they were astounded when I asked......... WHO? I still delight in that moment, the expressions on thier faces was priceless. Like in the movie The Sandlot, when the kid didn't know who the Bambino was.
