I own a Xeno 8345S. It's a smooth playing horn. Big sound, smooth as silk. Solid, heavy, and did I mention smooth?
A little story.........I bought it new at a local music store. Played it for about 2 months. I was cleaning it one day, looked down the leadpipe, and saw that it was badly pitted. Took it back to the music store and the horn tech said that it must have been made from a bad batch of metal. They shipped it back to Yamaha, and I recieved a brand new 8345. The process took a couple months. In the meantime, I needed a horn and found and bought another horn(ZeuS). I have a brand new, virgin Xeno sitting in my cellar that needs played. I fugured that a new horn would be easier to sell than a used one so I listed it on e-bay for $1275. Nobody bit. Any suggestions?

I've got a Xeno C trumpet as well. What an excellent horn. I have the 8445G model and can't say enough good things about it. However, mine is up for sale since I have to play Bach trumpets. If I had it my way, I would also play the Xeno C and never look back. Heck, I'd probably own a Xeno Bb as well. I do like my Bachs, but my Xeno plays much easier.
