What is the deal with these? Any info. I know nothing about them but have heard a few good things.

i have used curry mouthpieces in the past with varrying results. first i used a curry 600 70M and after playing it for awhile, the edges of my lips would go raw. then i tried the curry 5z. and it was a pretty good mouthpiece. i stopped using it because i like a flatter rim and a shallower cup, so i ended up with a GR 64.7 MS, and i still use the 5z with my C trumpet for the contemporary service at my church. curry mouthpieces are the best bang for your buck, especially if you like the feel of bach mouthpieces (maybe because that's what he copied???)

I have a curry 3Z 1*. About the same dia. rim and cup as a bach 3C and a bit shallower. Also the cup is more tapered, not as bowl shaped as a bach and the outer shank is beefier as it tapers up to the cup. A nice heavy mpc. Makes for great sound and projection especially for big band and solo work.
