Rev. What will be different about this instrument from the original zeus? Different materails? Different construction? When is the horn due out? What price range are we looking at for this instrument?

That's the current million dollar question!! Alex has kept the details of this new trumpet "under wraps." I'm just as anxious to find out more about this new horn! I do get the feeling, however, that we will not have to wait too much longer, before more details are given about the trumpet! One thing is for sure...Alex has promised that it will be incredible!! Blessings,

I just got word today that the SuperZeuS or ZeuperHorn (both just working titles, it will be called something different) has been built. It will be shipped to me in just a few days.
I cannot divulge any info about it at this time but I can tell you in advance that it will come standard with 13 different slides called Mood Slides. 13 is a very appropriate number for 13 different moods. Now you will be able to match the tone and feel of the horn according to the mood you are in or more importantly, the horn with its various slides will be able to alter your mood and change your entire personality to whatever you wish.
Slide 1 is used when you want to be arrogant and think you are the best trumpet player in the world. This slide will give you the self-confidence to actually believe anything. It’s very similar to a few snorts of cocaine.
Slide 6 is what you use after your old lady has nagged you all day and you feel like you want to choke her. Instead of chocking her, just put the slide in and get all the satisfaction.
Slide 9 is when the old lady is looking really homely to you. Put in the slide and she will look like Fox.
Slide 11 is used instead of Viagra. If you don’t feel like the man you used to be, then just pop in this slide and the sheep better take cover.
The slides I have just listed are the mild ones. This forum is not the appropriate place to list the description of the other slides. This is in response to another horn marketed on this site which has many slides. ZeuS will not be second to anything. ZeuS will always lead and it will always be on the cutting edge.
This is the best time to take the money out of the cookie jar because the most anticipated trumpet in history is on its way and will arrive soon. You have seen nothing like it in your life. Not for the lame.
That's all for now. Alex

Some horn makers try to make improvements that influence the sound, versatility, and/or playability of their instruments. Others have R & D departments that simply consist of coming up with new finishes or colors for theirs. Seems to be a market for both and there doesn't appear to be a need to slam one in order to elevate the other. But then again, peaceful coexistence would yield a low entertainment value I guess.
