Hi,
I was just reading the plight of Aaron G. (smithwatkinsguy) on TH, Smith-Watkins for sale thread. I thank God that I'm beyond being told what I have to play and what mouthpiece to use. Here's a young guy with an exceptional horn and great mp that he is really comfortable with being made to change because it doesn't fit somebody elses image. Is this right or are we back in the dark ages? Even in the traditional world of brass bands where the Besson sovereign was king when I grew up, people now play Yamaha, Besson, Schilke, SW just as long as the sounds right. Whats going on?
