Just curious,
Can you tell me the difference between the Blackburn 1-1/2C and the Kanstul B1-1/2C? I currently play the Kanstul with the no. 10 BB and I'm having problems of being a bit flat on my high range.
Thanks, Jeroen.

A couple of things that could be causing your Kanstul to play flat up high:
Wrong gap (either too large or too small) The Kanstul 10 backbore may not be a good fit for your horn.
Are you using this on Bb and C trumpet?
A good Kanstul backbore to try might be the #24.
If this response sounds wishy-washy, it's only because we are all different. I am only stating what I would do if I was experiencing this problem.
Keep us posted.

Thanks for your reply Mikey.
To give a couple of answers on your tips:
- I've tried it with both the 10 and 24. The 24 is bigger in sound and a bit more free blowing (what I like), but even flatter in the upper register.
- On my B flat (Bach 37ml) it's works fine with both bb's, but on my custom built C not yet. Maybe it's the gap, I'll give that a try.
