I have a 1920's vintage Frank Holton Bb trumpet I would like to sell. The serial number is 91500.
The silver is in nice shape, but the gold wash is pretty thin. There are probably 5 tiny creases (< 1/8 inch) towards the bottom and outside of the bell. There is a surface crease on the inside bend of the main tuning slide and a few smaller dings on the bends of the other slides. The valves and slides are not smooth like a pro horn, more like a student horn. It has a heavy wall construction and all of the braces are solid and don't appear to ever been loose.
It is a cool looking horn and in the right hands it could probably be restored without any disassembly.
I'm just bored with it and don't play it. Maybe someone else would like it. I have pics if you want to see them.
Make me an offer.
