Hey everyone, I finally have a public gig I'm playing with the Longy School of Music Modern American Music department on October 15th doing a Gershwin Program. The first half of the Concert there will be a 4 hand version of Porgy and Bess and the second half will have some jazz treatments of Gershwin's music. I think it's free to the public (more details can be found on http://www.longy.edu). Of course I'll be playing at the Northeast TrumpetFest on November 1st as well (www.northernbrass.com). I have a few more dates I'm working on in Maine and NYC in October as well. I'll keep you all posted! Hope to see you there! Best, Trent www.trentaustin.com

If my memory serves me Longy is right around the corner from Harvard.
Is that right Trent?
Sounds like a great recital. Best of Luck!

Hi Master, Longy is in the Harvard area, on One Follen St. The Edward pickman concert hall has some of the most amazing acoustics in the Boston area. Maybe next post I won't spell October with two B's! Best, Trent www.trentaustin.com
