What's going to be different about this site that we haven't seen on TPO or TH?

Thanks for joining Thevor and Welcome. Great question.... My first goal is to set up dedicated forums for various trumpet makers that will be moderated by the people who actually make the trumpet or who are reps. For a company like Bach or Yamaha I know this will be impossible but for some of the smaller / custom shops I think this could be a reality. At this point I am looking for those Moderators. If you have any suggestions please feel free to contact me. If you know the Master you know I bring my A game all the time. This website will be no different. Buckle up!

Boy, after that go around that you had with Alex the Zeus Man on TH, I suspect he will be hesitant to post here for fear of retribution. Any chance he would be able to moderate a Zeus forum without getting some PAYBACK here from the Master?

I have asked Alex to moderate the Zeus forum. There will be no retribution. I have buried the hatchet with him. And I would like to take this moment to formally apologise to him. It takes two to tango but I was wrong to push things over the top with him. I really hope he decides to moderate the Zeus forum. If Leigh's Eclipse forum is an indication of anything it could be very very exciting and informative. I have offered Mr. Z complete control of the Zeus forum if he wants it! I have no tricks up my sleave. I hope I have made that clear to Mr. Z TM Boy, after that go around that you had with Alex the Zeus Man on TH, I suspect he will be hesitant to post here for fear of retribution. I would just like to say I am very pleased to see a fresh site. Hopefully things will be a lot more civil. I looking forward to learning in a non-hostile enviroment.

I am always up for a new trumpet-related site! You never know what "pearls of wisdom" you may encounter!

I have two trumpet sites bookmarked...TrumpetMaster and TrumpetHerald. TPO, Raw Brass, and Trumpet Geeks International never "clicked" for me. And TPIN's format takes too much time.
I wish TrumpetMaster the best...sincerely. I think the dedicated horn forums are genius! That is what drew me here.
All the best.

I did trumpetgeeks for awhile before they switched it over from the old format... and then it just got lame. Too many forums for not enough of a member base. But I'm excited to see what this forum is going to turn into... Erin -iii<

This place is wierd so far. It seems like everybody wants to talk about gear and nobody wants to talk about trumpet playing.
